List item accomplished: Giacomo’s in the North End. Always huge lines outside this place. Finally got to try it. Pretty good, but I think there are better places with shorter lines. Not to discount my pumpkin tortellini. It was very good

List item accomplished: The Union Oyster House. Somehow, we were given JFK’s favorite booth. A historic table at the oldest restaurant in the US. Not bad.

List item accomplished: Mr. Bartley’s Burgers. This may have been the greatest thing I ever tasted.

List Item Failed…or to be Failed
I was in NY last night, and am headed to Mardi Gras this weekend, so I will be unable to fulfill attending a Beanpot Tourney game. This is a travesty of travel planning on my part :(

List Item Accomplished: MIT Mystery Hunt Weekend. Much thanks to my follower who invited me to join their team! I really do appreciate the helpful tips you all send me, but this was above and beyond.
I admittedly wasn’t a whole lot of use solving these puzzles, but this was a really interesting experience. The amount of effort and energy that goes into this event is impressive.

List Item Accomplished: Visited the Mapparium. Unfortunately, they don’t let you take pictures in the actual Mapparium at the Christian Science hq, so I had to settle for pictures out in the beautiful lobby. If you have some free time, check this place out. The Mapparium itself is beautiful, and the echo effects inside of it are neat. Only bummer is that you only get about 20 minutes inside of it.

List Item Accomplished: explored the rest of the Arnold Arboretum. Before Hurricane Sandy arrived to blow all the leaves away, I made sure to swing by the Arboretum to see the fall foliage. After seeing about half of the Arboretum back in May, I covered the other paths I missed. However, with the plants always changing, I don’t know if there really is a good way to truly see all of the Arboretum.
